SpaceX has signed an agreement to acquire the AI service Cursor at a valuation of $60 billion. The deal will be conducted in SpaceX Class A shares; the exchange ratio will be calculated based on the volume-weighted closing price over the seven trading days before completion.
Closing is expected in Q3 2026 following regulatory approvals. In April, SpaceX secured the right to buy Cursor for $60 billion or to pay $10 billion under a joint collaboration agreement between the companies.
