The ICON cryptocurrency (ICX) is an interchain blockchain that connects the different blockchains of other cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Qtum.
First, the ICON cryptocurrency is used as an intermediary cryptocurrency. ICX makes it possible to carry out transactions between different cryptocurrencies, determining the exchange rate through a DEX reserve. Second, ICX can be used both for the DApp tokens of the U-coin, which was created by a development team from the Korean University Consortium.
ICX can also be a token for conducting an ICO under ERC-20.
